Camping At LEADORE August 6-13, 2010 We went with all the Briscoes and the Wisers. We stayed for 9 days and had a wonderful time, despite the fact that it rained hard every day!Stetson posing on a log at Everson Lake

What a Beautiful View!

We went on a ride up to Patterson Lake. It started to rain but we continue on anyway. Sterling and the boys started a fire so we could get warm before we started back to camp.

Here is a couple pics of the trails. They were sooo rocky and steep. But its a lot of fun and the scenery is great.

July 11, 2010
At Chris' funeral, I was able to see some of my best friends! Rhett, Gardner & Loranna Kearsly and Valerie Bybee. It was wonderful to see them and to be together. I love these guys! We all grew up together and worked at the swimming pool together. They were my other family.
The death of our good friend, Chris Garder, was one of the hardest experiences I've ever had to deal with. We were with him and his wife, Wendy, when they crashed on their 4-wheeler. We did everything we could to save his life, but it wasn't meant to be. It was so physically and emotionally hard for me. But there was a calmness through it all and I believe God has a plan and I have to have faith in that plan. We love you Chris and we will miss you dearly!

Scott and I went on a Harley trip to Cody, WY. We went with my parents and the Thompsons. It was beautiful country and we had a really good time together.

Our Summer so far!

My new favorite quote is: "Adversity - it can make you bitter or better - you make the choice." Hopefully from the experiences I've had this summer I can grow, gain perspective and become a better person.

Happy Birthday Houston! July 6, 2010! Dax & Ri had a sleep over and then the next day we all went to Lava for a fun day of swimming! I think Houston had a great 10th Birthday!
Houston is full of fun and I love his laugh! Jo, Houston & Trav are trying out the new slip and slide from Gram & Grandpa. They had a blast!
Lori and Wendy's fam met us at Lava. We had a perfect day in the sun. Happy Birthday HougDog!

We survived another year at swim camp! June 13-18!

HAPPY 11TH BIRTHDAY TRAVIS!!!THE Briscoes, Wisers and some friends came over for a big BBQ on Travis' Birthday. We ate a lot of good food, played some fun games and had a Blast just being together. Travis recieved some really nice gifts and he loved everything about his birthday. He mainly loved just being with all his cousins. If you want to see more pics, look on my sister Lori's blog. She took more pics of my kid's birthday than I did. I was too busy cutting the cake and playing games. (smile)

We took a day trip to City of Rocks! It was such a fun day! We hiked and explored all around and climbed some pretty cool rocks. I love this picture of our family - doing what we love best! Being together in the out-of-doors!
Huge Granite Rocks just stick up in the middle of no where. Very Cool! City of Rocks provides some of the best rock climbing in the world. Here is Shannon and Scott carrying Stetson & Maddie on their shoulders. The babies loved it!

We climbed this HUGE rock called "Bath Rock" ! It was a little steep at times, but a really fun free climb. The view from the top was awesome!

I thought this was so cute! Steston had his chairs all set up. One for himself and the other for his bunny. They were watching Thomas the Train. His favorite cartoon.
